Applied Research Technology cannot be easily summarized. It is the often the essence of our specialized support. RITC in part is an effort to streamline the common day-to-day technology support within the basic science departments so that time may be freed to account for the unique demands of the research lab. By association our computer technicians become accustomed to working in the laboratory and can often help out in situations where one would not normally ask for help from the computer support team. We have helped configure HPLC's, worked on the I/O boards between stop-flows and computer, and rebuilt all new machines to run old operating systems.
